You will experience full mind and body transformation in our heated studio. Our hot Pilates and Yoga classes are designed to help you build full body strength and mental resilience through mindful and effective mat movements in a heated studio using the infrared heating system, with temperature set to suit the class.

The infrared heating technology helps you get the most out of your workout as heat gently penetrates your skin and warms your muscle. You will leave the class feeling grounded, stronger and energised.

CLASS TYPES

At TONE, we believe you can build a better you through connecting to what your body needs. Some days you will choose to work harder, others you may need to recover and rejuvenate. Both Pilates and Yoga can be used as great addition to your workout routine, focusing on self-awareness and body organisation on the mat.

We design our classes to deliver maximum results whilst ensuring they are enjoyable their own ways. Regardless of which class you choose to go, you will TONE your entire body and DETOX; experiencing movement with a gentle embrace of the infrared heat.

HOT PILATES

Suitable for all fitness levels, we combine traditional Pilates principles with dynamic mat Pilates repertoires, you will experience peaks of intensity with a strong and intentional focus on core strength.

Starting on our highest quality Lululemon mat, our instructors will utilise a variety of different Pilates props including Bala beam, power ring, rollers, Yoga block, booty bands (and more!) to challenge your body in new ways. This class is designed for a full body workout that will tone your muscles and leave you feeling grounded, strong and energised.

Our infrared heating system provides the added benefit of detoxification, increased flexibility, improving metabolism, better muscle recovery and greater calories burn.

WARM / HOT YOGA

Hot Power Yoga: A beginner friendly dynamic and flowing Vinyasa based practice, with a focus on building flexibility, strength, resilience and mindfulness on the mat. The added infrared heated room synergises with the movement (asana) as you work up a sweat.

Duration: 45 minutes

Temp: 32-35 degrees

Bring: Sweat towel (full sized recommended) + drink bottle

Warm Yin Yoga: Slow and meditative, Yin poses are held passively for a prolonged period to get deeper into muscles and connectivity tissue (fascia) to lengthen, and deeper into relaxation. The warm room facilitates deep release and is a compliment to our active classes, leaving you feeling recharged and realigned.

Duration: 60 minutes

Temp: 25-27 degrees

Pregnant students are welcome to this warm class as long as you have received approval from your health care professional and is used to practicing in a heated space. Please let your instructor know when you arrive, so they can make any relevant modifications.

Our studio is heated with the best in market infrared heating technology imported from Germany to ensure our clients experience the full benefits that it can offer. They are the same type of heat that is naturally produced by the sun, extremely different to a convection heater. Keep reading to find out more!

  • In Tone Pilates, you will feel your heart elevate quickly even with low impact exercises. The added heat intensity can contribute to weight loss and improved cardiovascular fitness.

    In our 45 minutes’ Hot Mat Pilates session, depending on factors such as age, weight and class intensity level, you may burn up to 400 calories. Your body continues to burn calories as it cools down from the heat, this process is said to boost your metabolism, talking about reaping maximum benefits after your workout session!

    Most people start to see improvements in muscle tone, strength and flexibility within 3 consistent weeks, at 3-4 sessions per week of starting Hot Pilates workout.

  • Regular low impact exercises such as Pilates and Yoga under the infrared heat not only gives you better physical health, sweating is an effective way to eliminate toxins built up in your body which is typically the cause of fatigue, pains and skin conditions. This process of detoxification and cleansing can result in cleaner, healthier skin. You will walk out of each class with a post Tone-workout glow, feeling a sense of cleansing and rejuvenation. If you want to look good, it all starts from feeling good.

    You will need to come prepared with a sweat towel (bath-sized recommended) and drink bottle when attending a class with Tone. Make sure you take a break when you need to, especially when if this is new to you, and ensure you stay hydrated before, during and after each class.

  • Hot Yoga paired with our infrared heater offers a significant advantage in flexibility improvement. The gentle heat of our infrared heater penetrates the skin, warms up your connective tissues and muscles that will help you achieve greater range in motion. You will be able to stretch deeper into poses than if practised in a room temperature environment.

    Hot Pilates works deeper into building your core strength muscles, those that you do not see but will feel a big difference with consistent practice as they are crucial to health and mobility. Better flexibility will promote good spinal health, which leads to better posture, mobility and overall strength.

  • Hot Pilates and Yoga is more than a physical workout. You will experience a holistic movement that fosters a profound mind-body connection.

    We guarantee you will be leaving your unending to-do list outside of the studio with the heat acting as a catalyst to intensify your focus and concentration.   • Hot room is particularly beneficial for those who struggle with anxiety and stress-related conditions. We envision our studio to create a safe space for the community, one where you can melt your stress and tension away. Tone Studio uses high tech LED lighting to illuminate our space to create a gender-neutral inspiring and trendy experience for our clients.

    The infrared heat combined with strong and controlled movements in an uplifting environment help release endorphins, your body’s natural “feel-good chemicals” which reduces anxiety and improves your mood. Many regular Hot Pilates and Yoga practitioners report improved sleep quality, much better than a regulated room temperature class.
